Hamburg International Airport has been closed to all arriving and departing flights after a gunman broke through the security barrier aboard a car and entered the airport ramp. The attacker is barricaded inside the car parked in front of the general aviation terminal, holding her people hostage two children on board. Police said this is a clear case of family drama. The man allegedly fired several shots from inside the car.

In the car there is at least one child and the man’s wife, who had previously contacted the police reporting a child abduction. The airport was evacuated for safety.
