A resident of Sunchales was the victim of a telephone scam perpetrated by unknown persons posing as representatives of the Ministry of Health. The incident occurred on Thursday, November 2, around 8:30, when the woman received a call from a private number.
As Rafaela Noticias learned, the scammer informed her that he had obtained an appointment to receive the COVID-19 vaccine next Tuesday, the 7th of this month. However, no details were provided about where she should report to receive the dose. The victim was instructed that she would receive a message with a confirmation code.
After providing this information, the call was abruptly cut off and he subsequently discovered that he could not use his WhatsApp application. He immediately alerted her contacts through Facebook not to contact her through her old number due to the situation.
The victim reported the incident at Police Station No. 3 of Sunchales, where an investigation into the telephone scam case began.
ROBBERY IN JUMP AT 800
The reported incident occurred at the home of a 56-year-old man located at 800 Salta Street. The victim informed the authorities that unknown persons entered his property between 11:00 p.m. on November 1 and 7:30 a.m. on November 2. .
