In the United States, the resignation of two senior officials has sowed confusion over the Israeli offensive in Gaza. First on the government side, with the highly publicized departure on October 18 of Josh Paul, the person responsible for arms transfers at the Bureau of Politico-Military Affairs. Then on October 28, with that of Craig Mokhiber, the director of the New York office in charge of human rights at the United Nations. Blast publishes their resignation letters, positions taken against and against Western commitments in the Israeli-Palestinian war.
