[ 매드타임스 한수경 기자] TK Maxx and W+K London are celebrating Christmas at the ‘Festive Farm’ with a flock of adorable animals catwalking around the barn in stylish new TK Maxx outfits.
This 40-second ad tells the story of a stylish farm celebrating Christmas. As the iconic intro to Eve and Gwen Stefani’s early ’90s hit ‘Let Me Blow Ya Mind’ begins to play, several animals can be seen strutting through the snow, showing off their Christmas presents.
First, the barn door is opened and an alpaca wearing a tortoise necklace busks in the snow-covered landscape carrying a crossbag, followed by a pair of ducks decked out in Harry Styles-inspired pearls, an elegant silk scarf, and a soft pink bow tie. Next, a cute hedgehog shivering from the cold wearing a cozy pink cashmere fur hat appears, and the iconic ‘little goat’ reappears in the 2020 TK Maxx Christmas campaign. The commercial ends with the alpaca smelling a sacred designer candle.
The farmer asked his wife, “Have you bought all the farm’s designer clothes?” “I thought you decided to prepare a simple gift this year?” the wife replies, “I did, honey,” and the two of them see animals dressed up from head to toe as gifts purchased inexpensively at TK Maxx from afar. We share a laugh while watching them walk around.
In the ad, a Christmas teddy bear can be seen being held in the hands of the couple’s young granddaughter.
