For example, the raw earth used in techniques such as adobe or rammed earth has thermoregulatory properties, which means that it helps maintain a comfortable temperature inside, both in hot and cold climates. In addition, these materials usually have good sound insulation capacity.

The use of vernacular materials in bioconstruction also promotes the preservation of traditional techniques and knowledge of local communities. These techniques have been developed over generations, adapting to the climatic and cultural conditions of each place. By using these materials and techniques, cultural diversity is valued and promoted and sustainable development is encouraged from a
local perspective.
