Introducing the iShares MSCI EM ex-China UCITS ETF: A New Investment Opportunity in Emerging Markets

iShares offers investors the opportunity to invest in large and medium-sized companies from 23 emerging markets excluding China.

November 3, 2023. FRANKFURT (Frankfurt Stock Exchange). Since Friday, a new exchange traded fund from iShares has been tradable on Xetra and on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.

The iShares MSCI EM ex-China UCITS ETF offers investors access to large and medium-sized companies from 23 emerging markets excluding China. With the broad commitment of over 600 companies, around 85 percent of the market capitalization of the individual countries is covered.

At the regional level, India, Taiwan and South Korea are the most represented. When it comes to sector distribution, financials, IT and materials together make up around 60 percent of the investment universe.

The product offering in Deutsche Börse’s XTF segment currently includes a total of 2,117 ETFs. With this selection and an average monthly trading volume of around 16 billion euros, Xetra is the leading trading venue for ETFs in Europe.
