Iraqi Singer Kazem Al-Saher Writes New Song “Stop the War” to Convey a Message to the World

Iraqi singer Kazem Al-Saher revealed that he had finished writing the lyrics of a new song entitled “Stop the War,” indicating that he would sing it in English to carry a message to the world, to stop the war in the Gaza Strip.

Al-Saher said during a dialogue session at the Sharjah Book Fair, in the Emirates, on Friday evening, that he is preparing to travel to New York today, Saturday, to record the song, which he is performing in cooperation with the United Nations.

He explained that he wrote the song in Arabic, and a British poet wrote it in English, and it was modified 7 times, indicating that he would finish recording it and release it within days.

Al-Saher explained that he has 7 patriotic songs in Arabic, but this song he will sing in English, so that it reaches all parts of the world.

He expressed his regret for what is happening in Gaza, and hoped that safety and peace would prevail for the people of Gaza, noting that innocent people are paying a heavy price in this war.
