Actress Shanti Mayadevi talks about the story behind her selfie with Vijay. Shanti said that after the shoot in Chennai, she asked Vijay to take a photo and he said okay. Shanti also says that when she took a selfie after going to the caravan, she was told that it is enough to release the picture and post it. ‘Vijay sir told me that I want to take a selfie with you after the shoot in Chennai. He said, ‘What do you take next?’ I said I can take it after this. Because the character is not in the make-up, not in the costume.
That selfie was taken when I went to the caravan after that. Sir said that it is enough to put it after the movie. He said ok I will put it in my hand. I posted the photo at the time of the movie’s release,’ said Shanti Mayadevi.
Shanti said in the interview that she saw the film late and was not here when the film released. The actor added that he could not see it because he was on a trip with his family.
Shanti Mayadevi says in an interview that she felt the mixed response to the film was very normal and she did not feel it was abnormal.
“I think mixed opinion is normal. I don’t find it abnormal. Every time you watch a movie, you will see two opinions. We love watching 90s or 80s movies on TV now. We will see that on repeat. We have heard that all those films are flops at the theatres. If ten people have seen the movie, then there are ten opinions. It is no one’s fault,’ said Shanti Mayadevi.
