At the beginning of November, the young Latvian singer Sabīne Mustermane released her debut album “Magnētiņi”, strengthening it with the single “Tikai Tev”, sung together with “X Factor” star Viktor Buntovski.
“Already from the first sketch of the song, I knew that it would sound good in a duet with Viktor – our voices are timbrally similar. The song is about daring, hope and the importance of communication in relationships,” explains Sabīne Mustermane. The “timbral similarity” could be discussed, but the song turned out to be beautiful and emotionally bright. A very simple diary-type video was also created for it, which the two young musicians created on their own.
“There is often a lot of pressure in the process of creating songs – to create a song in such a way that it meets the requirements of the industry. Working with Sabini there was no such pressure, making the song was exciting. I am satisfied with our cooperation and I willingly listen to it every day,” emphasizes Viktors Buntovskis.
Sabine’s debut album was made in just seven months, as the singer purposefully worked on Agnes Rakovska’s music and education platform “Zvaigznājs”. Several well-known musicians in Latvia were involved in the creation of the album, including Agnese Rakovska, Pēteris Lunde and Matīss Repsis. On November 7, everyone is invited to the opening party of the album “Magnetiņi”, which will take place in the cultural space “M/Darbnīca”.
