Jakarta, CNN Indonesia —
Militia leader HizbullahHassan Nasrallah, said the whole world is turning a blind eye to military aggression Israel which the people are facing Palestine.
“The Palestinian struggle and everything that happened in Palestine were completely forgotten. The whole world turned a blind eye to them,” said Nasrallah in his first speech responding to Israeli aggression since October 7, Friday (3/11).
Nasrallah said no one, including the international community, was “moving their finger” over what happened to Palestine today.
He mentioned that neither the UN Security Council, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the European Union, nor even the Arab League had taken a concrete response to this conflict.
Palestine, Nasrallah said, had been “totally abandoned and totally forgotten.”
“On the contrary, the enemy’s policies are more vicious, oppressive and humiliating,” he said, alluding to Israel and Western countries.
Nasrallah also said that there must be a “major event that shakes the colonialists” and their supporters, namely the United States and Britain.
“Therefore there must be a major event that shakes the Zionist regime with its supporters in Washington and London. And to reopen these humanitarian issues before the whole world and to the surface,” he said.
This is Nasrallah’s first public statement responding to the Hamas vs Israel war that broke out on October 7.
This public statement is in the spotlight and is eagerly awaited by the whole world because until now there has not been a single comment from him responding to Israel’s aggression in Gaza.
The conflict in the Middle East itself has spread to southern Lebanon and involves the Hezbollah militia.
A number of media reported that around 50 Hezbollah members were killed in Israeli attacks in southern Lebanon.
