The Israeli army announced on Friday that it had bombed a Hezbollah “cell” in southern Lebanon, wounding two of its soldiers.
The Israeli army said in a statement that its forces “yesterday (Thursday) eliminated a cell of saboteurs in a compound of the Hezbollah terrorist organization in Lebanese territory, and caused damage to the organization’s terrorist infrastructure, in response to the shooting that was carried out from Lebanese territory into Israeli territory.” .
The statement added, “During (last) night, an Israeli army tank attacked a ‘cell of terrorists’ that was trying to launch anti-tank missiles from Lebanese territory to Israeli territory.”

The army said, “A soldier was moderately injured, while another reserve soldier was slightly injured, as a result of a drone bombing yesterday, Thursday, on an Israeli army site. The fighters were evacuated to receive medical treatment in the hospital.”
