In connection with the end of the deadline for the 2023 National Book Grant Program, the Directorate of Innovation and Science and Technology Areas, Universitas Brawijaya (DIKST UB) on Thursday, 2/11/2023 held Monitoring and Evaluation activities for the 2023 National Book Grant Program.
The activity, which was carried out in the UB Central Library Meeting Room, 1st floor, was attended by approximately 138 participants consisting of the Chair of Proposers and Participants of the 2023 National Book Grant Program DIKST Universitas Brawijaya.
Starting his speech, the Director of DIKST UB, Mohammad Iqbal, S.Sos., M.IB., DBA said that the name DI2B (Directorate of Innovation and Business Incubators) as of November 1 has changed to the Directorate of Innovation and Science and Technology Areas or DIKST where the activities He is the manager of UB’s 2023 National Grant Program.
“The name DI2B or Directorate of Innovation and Business Incubators has been changed since November 1 to DIKST (Directorate of Innovation and Science and Technology Areas), where this monitoring and evaluation activity is a progress of the 2023 Book Grant Program.”
“So that this program can run according to the time specified, at the end of the activity there will be a signing of a publishing agreement. “Therefore, I appreciate the invitation that the book grant participants are the ones who carry the mandate to complete the book grant,” added Iqbal.
It was also conveyed that this program is also the Chancellor’s main concern, where the books that are the output of the grant will be accessed and cited openly, and will become a citation achievement.
At the end of his speech, Iqbal also said that if there are matters relating to administration, you can ask the PIC directly, the maximum deadline for completion is in the 3rd week of November and the reporting process will end in the first week of December.
In this monitoring and evaluation, apart from submitting a progress report on the 2023 National Book Grant Program by the Chair of the National Book Grant Program: Dr. Dian Eka Ratnawati., S.Si., M.Kom., DIKST also presented speaker Dr. Hayat, S.AP., M.Sc., Director of BNSP who is also an Assessor for BNSP Book Writers who delivered the material “Tips for Writing Books According to BNSP Standards”.(rs/humasub)
