The Bischofstetten team’s autumn championship title has been certain for two weeks, but this week the SUB will be able to celebrate the title in front of their home audience. In the final game against SG Waldhausen/Gloxwald, the clear goal is a win in order to be able to finish the autumn season undefeated.
Two barriers near Klein-Pöchlarn
Ferschnitz welcomes the new bottom of the Klein-Pöchlarn table on Saturday. After the defeat against Maria Taferl last week, the Klein-Pöchlarners are at the bottom of the table with three points and without a win this season. It will certainly not be an easy task to get three points against the third-place team. Especially because coach Thomas Kögl has to do without the suspended Mathias Lagler and Arlind Brao.
Frankenfels has to travel to Nöchling for the last game of the fall season. Both teams won in the last round and are only four points apart in the table. Accordingly, the fans can certainly expect an exciting game.
Krummnußbaum, second in the table, had to admit defeat against USV Münichreith last week and lost important points to Bischofstetten. In the last autumn round, SKV St. Oswald, who had to admit defeat against Nöchling last week, is now waiting at home. “We definitely want to score again against St. Oswald so that we don’t fall too far behind in the table,” explains Krummnußbaum’s section leader Dominik Ledermüller.
Last chance for first win of the season
In the lower third of the table there is a duel between tenth place Maria Taferl and twelfth place Erlauf. While Maria Taferl ended a long losing streak with a win last week, SV Erlauf is still waiting for its first win of the season. Eimantas Valaitis’ team had been close in recent weeks, but recently conceded an equalizer in stoppage time against Yspertal.
The match between SV Yspertal and USV Münichreith will also take place on Sunday at 2 p.m. The latter are currently in top form and have won six of their last seven games. They also recently celebrated a 3-1 win against second-placed Krummnußbaum. For coach Daniel Lehner, the goal is clear: “We definitely want to win the last game. Then we’ll be well into the top three before the winter break. Things are going very well for us at the moment.”
SG Ardagger/Viehdorf III ended the fall season last weekend with a defeat against Frankenfels.
