The latest report issued by the Automotive Market Information Council (AMIC) stated that sales of various vehicles, including passenger cars, buses, and trucks, recorded an increase in the month of September, with about 9,900 cars sold during the month of September 2023, an increase of 23% compared to the month of August of the current year 2023.
Al-Amik explained that passenger car sales were able to record the sale of about 7,887 cars, an increase of 27% on a monthly basis and 15% on an annual basis.
The Automotive Information Council revealed that there was an increase in “bus” sales by 39%, recording the sale of about 689 buses, while “truck” sales did not witness a significant increase and were estimated at approximately 1%.
