The Hungarian National Museum is preparing for the autumn festival of museums with a family treasure hunt

The family day begins in the morning with the family treasure hunt program “In Search of Ancient Treasures”, where the participants can discover the thousands of years of history of the Carpathian Basin in a joint team game, the institution said in a statement on Thursday.

With the treasure hunting worksheets, families can go through the museum’s archeology exhibition on their own.

In the morning, a live museum program titled The Three Wishes of the Princess begins, where children are invited to take a trip back in time. In the game, you will have to collect the most valuable treasures from the three most distant corners of the country.

Among the interactive demonstrations, György Lengyel, a Hungarian specialist in stone tools, introduces visitors to the making of clicked stone tools. Visitors can participate in this program every half hour.
