Europe’s Stock Markets Gain Momentum at Mid-session: Milan Leading with 1.8% Increase

Europe lively at mid-session after buoys, Milan +1.8%

Momentum for European stock markets at the halfway point of the session, with the ECB confirming expectations and, like yesterday, the Fed kept rates unchanged at 5.25%. Thus the FTSE MIB in Milan moves close to the highs of the day with an increase of 1.8%. All the main continental stock markets showed progress: Paris advanced by 1.95%, Madrid by 1.77%, Frankfurt by 1.58%, as did Amsterdam (+1.69%) and London (+1.3% ). The banking sector is weak: at the bottom of the ftse mib unicredit (-0.9%), banco Bpm (-0.4%) and Bper (-0.25%).
Outside the main list, Lottomatica continues its run (+4.3%) after the announcement of an agreement for the purchase of the betting company sks365.
