(PLO)- After a series of accidents on Highway 1, a 4-seater car was deformed, injuring two people.
By 9 a.m. on November 2, the authorities had completed the scene examination and relocated the vehicles in distress after a three-vehicle accident on Highway 1.
According to information, around 6 a.m. on the same day, a 10-ton truck carrying foam boxes drove on Highway 1, heading from Thu Duc City to An Suong roundabout. When approaching the Tan Thoi Hiep overpass, the section passing through District 12, Ho Chi Minh City, he crashed into a tractor-trailer running in front.
At this time, a four-seater car and another container truck also crashed into the rear of the truck, causing a chain of accidents involving multiple vehicles.
At the scene, the four-seater car was crushed and stuck between the truck and the tractor. Car doors are warped, windshields and windows are broken.
The driver and a passenger in the car suffered scratches and back injuries and were taken to the emergency room by passersby.
The accident caused National Highway 1 to be congested for more than 2 km for 3 hours.
By 9:00 a.m., traffic police had finished documenting the scene and removing the vehicles in distress. Only two people suffered minor injuries, not life-threatening.
