An agreement would be on the verge of being reached between Juventus and the Serbian striker. Multiple reports in Italy indicate that Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli will meet with Dusan Vlahovic’s agent this week to discuss a possible contract extension for the Serbian international striker.
Juventus are looking to extend the contracts of several of their players, and after reaching an agreement with Nicolo Fagioli, it is now Vlahovic’s turn, according to reports from Gazzetta dello Sport and Calciomercato. Vlahovic’s current contract expires in June 2026, and Juventus are therefore working to extend it for another year or two. This would allow the club to reduce the depreciation of the striker on an accounting level and to control its payroll. Currently, Vlahovic earns 7.5 million euros per season, plus bonuses, but his salary could increase to 12.5 million euros per season, still with bonuses. However, Juventus plans to spread his salary and bonuses over a longer contractual period in order to improve his financial situation.

It is also mentioned that the Italian leaders could agree to include a release clause in the striker’s new contract, which would further facilitate negotiations between the two parties. Vlahovic has scored four goals in eight games this season. He joined Juventus in 2022 from Fiorentina, in a deal worth €80 million.
