RAS AL KHAIMAH. Similar to 4 years ago, the Slovak representatives in indoor soccer advance to the quarter-finals of the World Cup, they managed to beat Montenegro in today’s round of 16 with a result of 5:2.
The course of the match
The Slovaks were not surprised even by the conceded goal in the beginning of the duel, which Jovanovič scored after only four minutes of the game.
The answer came less than 10 minutes later, when Juhás prevailed after a rehearsed action.
The Slovak representatives scored two more goals in the first half thanks to Blažej and Rep and went into the second half with a two-goal lead.
In the second half, Montenegro dramatized the match when they reduced it thanks to Mijović.
However, the Slovaks responded quickly again and after a goal by Filip Kis, they took a two-goal lead again.
At the end of the match, Montenegro also tried a game with a flying goalkeeper, but did not add another goal.
On the contrary, Tomáš Mikluš prevailed with a beautiful volley and closed the score at the final 5:2.
