Angry Farmers in Dresden Protest Delayed EU Agricultural Funding in Saxony

Farmer protests in Dresden: Problems with premiums only known in Saxony

Because Saxony cannot pay out EU agricultural funding by the end of the year as usual, farmers are angry. According to the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, the payment problems only exist in Saxony.

Rolling protest: Dozens of farmers from many parts of Saxony drove their tractors to Dresden on Wednesday to protest in front of the Saxon state parliament. Associations such as “Land creates connection” (LSV) and the farmers’ association have called for the campaign.
