NATO Secretary General Warns Nordic Countries of Ukraine Focus Amid Gaza Conflict

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg warned the Nordic countries not to take their focus away from Ukraine while the conflict in Gaza is in full swing.

– Unfortunately, we cannot choose one war at a time, Stoltenberg said in a guest speech to the Nordic Council in Oslo on Tuesday.

He said the Gaza conflict must not weaken the West’s ability to support Ukraine.

According to Stoltenberg, Ukraine must expect new attacks on the country’s infrastructure for energy supply in the coming time.

He said that arms support from NATO countries must continue:

– Ukraine needs more weapons, he said.

– President Putin can stop the war. But if Ukraine stops defending itself, they will be occupied, said the NATO chief.
