Tram and Pedestrian Collision in District 6: Zurich City Police Seek Witnesses

On Monday morning, October 30, 2023, there was a collision between a tram and a pedestrian in District 6. He suffered unknown injuries.

According to initial findings from the Zurich city police, a Flexity tram on line 14 was traveling on Stampfenbachstrasse from the main train station in the direction of Schaffhauserplatz. Shortly after 8 a.m. there was a collision near Sumatrasteig between the tram and a man who was crossing the street. The pensioner had to be taken to hospital by the paramedics from Schutz & Rescue Zurich with unknown injuries. The course of the accident is unclear and is being investigated by the Zurich city police. Specialists from the Accident Technical Service of the Zurich City Police were deployed to provide comprehensive photographic, dimensional and material evidence.
