The DIF Sonora system continues to call on society to donate food and other items for those affected by Hurricane Otis, indicated its general director Lorenia Valles Sampedro.
In an interview, the director of DIF in the State commented that the collection centers were enabled since October 27 and will continue until November 2, receiving personal and general cleaning items, in addition to non-perishable food.
He commented that the Sonoran society has shown solidarity with this cause, not only with the donation, but with the work of the volunteers to prepare food packages and the receipt of support.
“We are doing the same in all the volunteering, where we are working and we can add many efforts, we have already experienced it before,” he expressed.
In Hermosillo there are five collection centers and in the municipalities the municipal DIF systems also work on receiving support.
