Developer studio Capcom has released Resident Evil Village for iPhones
The game runs as smoothly as possible, but it “crashed” twice during a relatively short play
Just on Monday, just one day before the Anglo-Saxon holiday of Halloween, the title Resident Evil Village was released for the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. A game originally from consoles and PC, which in supposedly unchanged graphics also comes to mobile phones. How was the game premiere of the new iPhones?
How is Resident Evil on iPhone?
Everyone can try Resident Evil Village for free, the game is available on App Store free and includes in-game purchases. The demo lets you walk all the way to a very strange village, so you get a taste of the beginning of the game and the first encounter with enemies. If you would like to play the whole game, it will cost you 419 crowns, which is much less than originally expected. Be careful, the game can be more than 16 GB, depending on the graphics settings.
On our editor’s iPhone 15 Pro Max, the game runs very well at maximum graphics settings and resolution: stable between 20-30 fps, indoors even at 50-60 fps. The important thing is that the graphics side of the game is really at the level of console or PC, including reflections, light artifacts, depth of field or details.
Gamepad as a must
To play on the display, you can use classic software buttons that imitate the complete arrangement of control elements on a gamepad. However, you can connect a classic game controller to the iPhone, either a specialized one, or one from Xbox or PlayStation. Soft keys are great for trying out, but not for actual gaming.
During approximately 30 minutes of gaming, the iPhone 15 Pro Max sweated slightly and heated up more than during normal use, but there was no mandatory decrease in brightness. However, twice while playing I crashed the entire app and had to start over from the starting point. Unfortunately, it is not clear whether it is a defense mechanism of the iPhone or the instability of the application.
