Leo Becomes Third Tamil Film to Gross Rs 500 Crore at Box Office

Leo grossed Rs 500 crore at the global box office. After 10 days, the film is progressing with good collections. Directed by Lokesh Kanakaraj, the film starring Vijay in the lead role is stepping towards a historic achievement. Leo is the third Tamil film to cross the Rs 500 crore mark after Rajinikanth’s 2.0 (Rs 783 crore) and Jailer (Rs 604 crore).

So far, Leo has collected Rs 285 crores in India. The film is expected to collect Rs 300 crore at the domestic box office this week.

Dalapathy Vijay’s Leo has already become the highest grosser of his career. Rajinikanth starrer Jailer earned 680 crores from the global box office. Now fans are looking to see if Leo can surpass Jailer’s global collection.

Vijay’s film Leo, directed by Lokesh Kanakraj, was released on the 19th. The highly hyped film received mixed response.

Arjun Sarja, Sanjay Dutt, Madonna Sebastian, Mathew Thomas, Mansoor Ali Khan, Priya Anand, Trisha Sandhi, Janani, Abhirami Venkatachalam and Babu Antony are all in the film.

Leo is produced by Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy under the banners Seven Screen Studio and The Root. Gokulam Gopalan has acquired the distribution rights in Kerala for Shree Gokulam Movies.
