Malnutrition is a disorder that causes body weight below standard. This condition can increase the risk of disease and can lead to death if not treated properly. We often see and hear cases of malnourished children, especially toddlers. This is sufficient in serious conditions where a person’s food intake does not match the nutrition they need. It can also be seen that the child’s weight is too low compared to his height.

Pcause of Malnutrition

The main cause of malnutrition is a lack of nutritional food intake according to the needs of each child’s age group. Apart from that, poor nutrition is also often caused by impaired absorption of nutrients due to chronic conditions, for example tuberculosis. Poor eating habits, malabsorption of nutrients, and genetic predisposition are common causes of malnutrition in children.

Many factors influence the occurrence of malnutrition, including socio-economic status, mothers’ ignorance about providing good nutrition for children, and low birth weight (LBW). Family food, infectious factors, and maternal education are causes of malnutrition.

the following conditions or factors:

-Pregnant at a young age
