Breeding Races and Rugby Activities at the Chartres Racecourse – Sunday October 29

The Chartres racecourse welcomes, on Sunday October 29, those who are not usually seen on the tracks for a PMH (Pari Mutuel Hippodrome) meeting dedicated to breeding races. Eight are scheduled from 1 p.m.

“These are horses aged 3 and 4 years old who have not obtained many gains or who are not precocious,” explains Jean-Luc Thirouin, president of the Chartres Horse Racing Society. “These small category races allow us to requalify certain horses that stand out.”

First steps on the track

The meeting will also see future professional drivers or trainers compete, who will take their first steps on the Chartres track: a race will be dedicated to students from the Afasec Horse Racing School (Association for training and social action of the stables of races).
