A law under consideration in the German parliament will mean that people who have committed anti-Semitic acts can never be granted citizenship, Germany’s Interior Minister Nancy Faeser said on Wednesday.

After meeting Israel’s ambassador to Germany Ron Prosor, Faeser announced that anti-Semites will be excluded:
– Our draft for a new citizenship law, which will now be discussed in the Bundestag, involves a clear exclusion of anti-Semites.
She added that the German authorities are “extremely vigilant” towards supporters of the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas in Germany:
– Such persons will be prosecuted with the full force of the law.
