Dr. Jamal Shaaban, a consultant cardiologist and former dean of the Heart Institute, said that Dr. Hani Al-Nazer, former head of the National Research Center and professor of dermatology, is in a very critical condition.
“Shaaban” wrote a post on his official Facebook page that stated: Dr. Hani Al-Nazer is in a very critical condition and has entered intensive care. He needs your prayers, and God is capable of everything.. O Lord, grant you healing.
Muhammad Al-Nazer, the son of Dr. Hani Al-Nazer, revealed the latest developments in his father’s health condition, saying that chemotherapy had caused him some severe complications, and during the coming period he will conduct tests to determine the extent of the condition’s development.
He added during a video he posted on his Facebook account: During the last period, we started chemotherapy. The type of cancer he has needs a violent type of chemotherapy, and the treatment will take a few months, last 5 days, and be repeated every 21 days.
He continued: Part of the treatment is inserted into the blood circulation and the other part is through injections into the spine until it reaches the nervous system.
