Luis Díaz’s parents were kidnapped this Saturday in Barrancas, La Guajira, Colombia.
According to the country’s press, the parents of the former FC Porto player were standing at a gas station when they were approached by armed motorcyclists and forced to get into the van in which they were traveling, along with the kidnappers.
The Colombian Public Ministry announced that a plan has already been activated to discover the whereabouts of the victims. «From the moment we became aware of the kidnapping of the parents of Colombian player Luis Díaz, in Barrancas, La Guajira, a specialized team of prosecutors, employees of the Technical Investigations Corps, and investigators from the Police and Military of Gaula are in urgent action in order to know the location of these people, clarify the facts and find those responsible.”
