Since she was chosen from more than thirty candidates as city poet of Leiden, assignments have flowed in and she has appeared at all possible events. Zoë van de Kerkhof (40), born in Brabant, gave up her job as a teacher because of it. ‘I always wonder: where have I ended up?’
