BANSKÁ BYSTRICA – Slávia Banská Bystrica basketball players belong together with the Piešťanské Čajka to the complete elite of Slovak women’s basketball. They go through the top Slovak league like a knife through butter, but what happened today on their home turf is unprecedented.
The fight with the newcomer from Trenčín turned into a sports tragedy and the visiting players completely resigned. Already in the first half, the women from Banskobystrica almost exceeded the 100-point mark, which is rarely exceeded in the NBA for an entire game.
