A man was killed in a shooting that occurred today, Saturday, near the circuit that hosts the Formula 1 Mexican Grand Prix in the Mexican capital.
Local authorities in Mexico confirmed, according to what the Spanish news agency Efe reported, that local police officers killed the victim after he opened fire on her in an attempt to escape after committing a robbery.
According to the same source, the shooting resulted in the injury of a number of police officers, near the circuit that will be the scene of the Mexican Grand Prix tomorrow, Sunday, and which today, Saturday, will also host the official trials.
