Russian air defense systems shot down Su-25 and MiG-29 of the Ukrainian Air Force. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
It is noted that enemy aircraft were destroyed in the Kherson and Dnepropetrovsk regions.
“During the course of 24 hours, air defense systems shot down Su-25 and MiG-29 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force in the areas of the settlements of Daryevka, Kherson region, and Ternovka, Dnepropetrovsk region,” the department’s telegram channel says.
In addition, at the Kanatovo airfield in the Kirovograd region, the command and control tower of the Ukrainian Air Force was hit.
In total, since the beginning of the special operation, 517 enemy aircraft, 253 helicopters, and 8,348 drones have been destroyed, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.
