Fighting movie star Jean-Claude Van Damme said that his participation as a guest in the successful series “Friends” was very embarrassing for him.
The star appeared as a guest alongside other Hollywood stars in 1996 in one episode titled “The One After the Super Bowl: Part 2.”
In this episode, Rachel and Monica fall in love with Van Damme while he is in town to film a movie, but when Rachel approaches him first while Monica is very shy, this leads to a dispute between them over who will go on a date with Van Damme.
And he said Van Damme“My performance is so bad. I look at myself and I’m like a pig. Like, ‘Hey girls.’… It’s like I’m ashamed of myself. And then I was on set, and these two girls, they come up and kiss me, on the lips. I didn’t know what to do.” “I do…it was weird. They were so nice.”
Van Damme admitted that he did not know much about the series, which aired from 1994 until 2004 before he participated in the second season in 1996.
He said, “When I went to the filming location, I saw these two beautiful girls, and they said that this series is now the most famous in the world. So, I was very happy,” and my agent said: ‘You should perform an episode with them.’ You’re going to play this person,” and although he wasn’t a huge fan of his involvement with the series, Van Damme said the experience was “a good memory overall.”
