Apple Watch Users Experience Battery Drain and Overheating Issues with WatchOS 10.1 Update

They claim that they are experiencing a problem with the battery being discharged even when the Apple Watch is placed on the charger, with a message saying “Charging is on hold due to Apple Watch temperature” appearing in the Settings app.

The issue has been appearing steadily since watchOS 10.1 was released this week, and a search for the issue on Twitter brings up various opinions from users, the media reported.
