Charged Indonesia Opens Orders for Electric Motorbikes at IMOS 2023 Exhibition

Tangerang

Electric motorbike manufacturer headquartered in Cikupa, Charged Indonesia officially opened orders for units at the Indonesia Motorcycle Show or IMOS 2023 exhibition. Previously, vehicles made by them could only be rented by consumers with a subscription scheme.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Charged Indonesia, Joel CY Chang, said that orders for new units will open on the first day of IMOS 2023. He hopes that, as time goes by, electric motorbikes made by Charged will become increasingly popular in the country.

“New motorbike sales are really opening here (IMOS 2023). We will start from the first day of the exhibition. Previously, Charged motorbikes were offered in a subscription scheme, since January there have been 4 thousand subscriptions,” said Joel when answering detikOto questions at ICE BSD, South Tangerang.

Meanwhile, the Chief Communication Officer (COO) of Charged Indonesia, Stefanus Widi, emphasized that there are actually several Charged motorbike units that consumers already own privately. However, it is very limited.

Official mass sales, he said, will only open at IMOS 2023. Charged brings three of its flagship products, namely Rimau, Anoa and Maleo.

“We will enter the market in January 2023. But when we enter the market, we want a user experience, that’s why we created a subscription format. Today, at IMOS 2023, for the first time we are opening (orders) directly to customers who want to make a purchase,” he explained.

It is known that this is the first time that Charged Indonesia has participated in the Indonesia Motorcycle Show or IMOS 2023 exhibition. They are providing a number of promotions to attract buyers.

This attractive offer is in the form of a battery exchange subsidy worth IDR 7 million, a vehicle buyback guarantee of 50 percent, and most interestingly, there is a down payment subsidy for vehicle purchases of up to IDR 5 million through certain financing services during IMOS 2023.

“Apart from IMOS 2023, our motorbikes can also be purchased at (dealers) Kemang, South Jakarta and there are also our partners who have opened in Canggu, Bali,” said Widi.
