Asset Managers Shifting Focus: US Stocks Outperform European Stocks

There has been a massive shift in the portfolios of wealthy investors in Germany over the past five years: away from European stocks and purely into US stocks. Since the beginning of the corona pandemic alone, the share of US stocks has increased from just over 30 to a good 40 percent on average in 2022. In return, the share of European stock companies fell from 39.7 to 29.9 percent in these three years.
