With this, the total number of daily services on the Thiruvananthapuram – Bengaluru route will be 8 in the 4 days of SpiceJet service. There will be 7 services 3 days a week.
With the addition of Air India Express on the Bengaluru route, which was a monopoly of Indigo, the ticket price will come down. This time, booking sites are showing a difference of 1000-2000 rupees compared to December last year. This is because the competition on the route is strong. Air India Express, which is set to strengthen its presence on domestic routes, will also start more services to other domestic airports, including Chennai.
With the commencement of Malaysia Airlines service to Kuala Lumpur, connectivity will also increase to international routes with high passenger numbers such as Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand. Currently, Scoot, the budget airline of Singapore Airlines, provides connectivity to this region.
Scoot’s service is to Singapore. Malaysia Airlines is planning 3 services per week from the second week of next month. With the addition of AirAsia, travel to this region will be possible at low cost.
