Saiful Mujani Research Center survey results (SMRC) recently declared electability Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka outperforming other presidential and vice presidential candidates.

Prabowo-Gibran’s electability is slightly superior to the pair Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD. Another pair, Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar, is far behind.

“Anies-Muhaimin received 23.5 percent of the vote, Ganjar-Mahfud 33.1 percent, Prabowo-Gibran 36 percent, and 7.4 percent have not yet answered,” said SMRC founder Saiful Mujani in a broadcast on the SMRC TV YouTube channel, Thursday (26 /10).

The simulation is slightly different from the simulation of three presidential candidates without a vice presidential candidate. Without Gibran, Prabowo’s electability would be 37 percent.

Ganjar’s electability without Mahfud is 35.2 percent. Meanwhile, Anies’ electability without Muhaimin is 22.7 percent. Respondents who did not answer were also lower, namely 5.1 percent.

Saiful said the three vice presidential candidates should boost the electability of the presidential candidates. However, the expected additional votes have not yet been seen.

“Until the survey in early October, the three names of the vice presidential candidates had not contributed to their respective partners,” he said.

The survey was conducted from 2-8 October 2023 with a margin of error of +/-2.5 percent.

A presidential election simulation survey was also carried out by LSI Denny JA on 4-12 September 2023. The survey also placed Prabowo-Gibran in first position with an electability of 39.3 percent.

The second position is occupied by Ganjar-Mahfud with 36.9 percent. Then Anies-Muhaimin has 15 percent electability.

The Indonesian Poltracking survey on 3-9 September 2023 revealed different results. Ganjar-Mahfud is in first place with an electability of 31.6 percent.

Prabowo-Gibran has an electability of 30.7 percent. Meanwhile, Anies-Muhaimin has an electability of 18.4 percent. Poltracking recorded that 19.3 percent of respondents did not answer the survey.
