Keli Cultural Center’s ‘Kudu Keli’ Football Tournament to Kick Off in Riyadh

RIYADH: The 10th football tournament of Keli Cultural Center ‘Kudu Keli’ will start from Friday. Officials announced in a press conference that the two-month long tournament will be held at the newly constructed Almutawa Park ground in Riyadh Sulai. Two matches will be held every Friday at 5:30 pm and 7:30 pm until mid-December. The tournament is being held with the permission of the Amateur Football League under the Saudi Ministry of Sports. A seven-member team of the Saudi Referee Panel headed by Ali Al-Qahtani as the head referee is responsible for managing the matches. Eleven games will be played according to FIFA norms. Prize money will be awarded to the best player, goalkeeper and best defender. Many prizes including 13 scooters and 14 grams of gold have been prepared for the spectators. The match will be played on a league cum knockout basis where the top 8 teams of the Indian Football Association will be divided into 2 groups.
