How did the hardworking housewife and the hardworking foreign worker meet? “It all started with the fact that I was a free person and “sat” on a dating portal,” Anete revealed.
Kristaps continued: “She sent a text message with the text: ‘What do you choose – pizza or pasta?’ That’s how it all started.”
Kristaps came back to Latvia, the two met, Anete introduced the guy to her children. “The kids weren’t like, ‘What is this? What does he want from us?” It was a big shock for me – my cat is very picky, he won’t go to anyone, he won’t pet him – he immediately fell into my lap,” said Anete.
Kristaps had to win the favor not only of the cat, but also of three small rakars. But the biggest challenge was gaining the trust of Anette herself, given her clear life story. “Getting her trust was very difficult, it took a very long time,” explained Kristaps.

“We lived together in a social house for almost a year, then we realized that we needed something bigger. We found this apartment,” said Anete.
