Mum-of-four Tina Hines died suddenly in her driveway in front of her husband Brian.
He performed CPR on his wife and struggled to revive her when she went into cardiac arrest in February 2018.
By the time the ambulance arrived at her home in Arizona, US, Tina was “blue and inanimate.” However, doctors continued to work on her on the way to the hospital.
Paramedics hit her six times with a defibrillator. For a total of 27 minutes, Tina had no heartbeat and was effectively dead. But after being intubated in hospital, she finally woke up with a message she was desperate to share.
Even though she had just come to her senses, the first thing she asked for was a pen and paper to write something down.
It was barely legible, but his family managed to decipher the scrawl. It said, “This is real.”
Her family explained that she simply nodded her head when they asked what she was talking about.
Brian recalled: “I said, ‘Pain? Hospital? She slowly nods her head, eyes closed. And then my daughter says, “Heaven?” And she nods yes.
He told the Christian Broadcasting Network that he was warned that his wife would likely not be able to speak for some time when she finally woke up.
But Tina couldn’t stop talking when she woke up, telling her family how she got a glimpse into the “other life.”
