Vasco vs Inter: Brazilian Championship Match Preview and Lineups

Vasco and Inter face each other this Thursday, at 7pm, in São Januário, in a game from the 29th round of the Brazilian Championship. The stadium will be full. All tickets were sold in advance. The match will be broadcast on sportv and Premiere.

Vasco is coming off a defeat to Flamengo, but the fans remain confident in their recovery campaign in the Brasileirão. Despite the result in the classic, the team performed well, led by Payet, who seems to be finding his best form. The situation, however, is still delicate. Vasco is in the relegation zone, in 17th place, with 30 points.

Inter arrives motivated after beating Santos 7-1 in the biggest defeat of the Brasileirão. The team opened the round in 12th place with 35 points, but dropped two positions. The victory is essential to fuel the unlikely dream of competing in the next edition of Conmebol Libertadores.

In the first round, the teams faced each other in Beira-Rio. Inter won 2-1, in a game that was marked by a goal missed by Lucas Piton, at the end of the second half, after a great save by John.
