The popular TV profile Else Kåss Furuseth (43) has a long career in TV and entertainment.

Not only has she hosted her own talk show on NRK with “Kåss til kvelds”, she has also had her own programs such as “Helsekost Furuseth”.

Hits back: – “Bullshit”

In May, the news came that she resigned from the state channel, in favor of TVNorge.

Now Kåss Furuseth can reveal a new job. She will become a permanent guest judge in “Norske Talenter”, when the competition begins on Friday with the live semi-finals.

– Above all, I look forward to being touched. I am very moved by people who have a great talent for something. In fact, I am very moved by people who have medium talent as well. And I am also moved by people who lack talent. I am actually moved just by the fact that I am now talking about the fact that I will be moved, she says in a press release.

She has no plans to be a judge of the strict kind.

Else Kåss Furuseth recently told about a date that turned out to be a bet. The man was to receive NOK 10,000 from his friends if he kissed her. This is what she says about the reactions she has received afterwards. view more

– In short, I am prepared to cry a lot, perhaps more than the crying legends Stian Blipp, Bjarne Brøndbo and Kloppen himself combined, says Kåss Furuseth.

As is well known, “Norske Talenter” first aired on TV 2, but after a longer break the program was revived on TVNorge.

As when it was on TV 2, it is also now led by Solveig Kloppen (52), while artists Silya Nymoen (45) and Hkeem (26), actor Dennis Storhøi (63) and presenter Stian Blipp (33) sit on the judging panel.

– Biggest thing that’s ever happened to me

So far in the program, the judges have decided who goes on in the competition. In the semi-finals, however, it is the TV viewers who decide who will go through to the grand final on 1 December.

The only exception is Kåss Furuseth, who has one gold button she can give to a lucky participant and who will then be sent directly to the final.

– I may not have a “master’s certificate” in either conjuring, stepping, juggling, flame-eating or unicycling, but I will still be allowed to sit there and judge whether these people have talent or not. It is a big responsibility, says Kåss Furuseth and adds:

– I had to be obedient

– I have ambitions to be an enthusiastic judge. The joy Mia Gundersen showed in 2016, when she saw a participant solve a Rubik’s cube with her feet, and simply went completely off the handle with excitement, that is the level I strive for.
