At the beginning of the cold season, respiratory viruses are among the most common causes of illness in children, regardless of age. The little ones are exposed to all viruses, they constantly evolve and form immunity, having more or less severe manifestations of the disease.
There are a lot of viruses, one week he goes to kindergarten, two weeks he stays at home to recover. Having this cough, I was afraid of pneumonia, said a parent, who arrived at the hospital with the child.
The most common infections are those with rhinovirus, for which there is currently no vaccine. Specialists claim that children can be immunized against flu, COVID and respiratory syncytial virus.

“The most important thing that will have to be done again is to relearn to wash our hands well. We have to play with children for the correct cough, and the correct cough is in the crook of the elbow, not in the hand and then touching the toy or the bathroom door handle. Our Romanian fear of currents must disappear, it doesn’t kill us, on the contrary, it protects us from viruses and bacteria”confesses Mihai Craiu, pediatrician.
