Nissan is set to unveil the Hyper Force electric car at the Japan Mobility Show (formerly the Tokyo Auto Show). The car promises to continue the traditions of the GT-R sports car.

The production version of the Nissan GT-R R35 was presented at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2007. The company is not yet outright saying that the electric concept car will be the R36, but the electric car’s silhouette and four round taillights point to the shared DNA of the two cars. The Nissan Hyper Force features a strikingly designed body with air vents and a giant rear wing – an impression complemented by carbon fiber wheels.
The design of the interior is also futuristic: you get the feeling that you are in a gaming PC case with a bunch of LEDs. The manufacturer abandoned the traditional steering wheel in favor of a racing wheel, but, presumably, this is a tribute to the concept, and in the production version everything will be somewhat simpler. The driver and passenger seats feature an angular design, complemented by effective lateral support and material that resembles carbon fiber. Another clear hint at the origins of the Nissan Hyper Force are the two driving modes: R (racing) and GT (Gran Turismo).
The electric sports car is powered by solid-state batteries and develops power up to 1000 kW or 1341 hp. The e-4ORCE system is announced, that is, all-wheel drive with front and rear engines. Other characteristics of the Nissan Hyper Force have not yet been announced, but in one of the official images, the speedometer on the head-up display shows a speed of 320 km/h.
