Last Thursday, during a Republican ceremony, the educational team of Voltaire College presented the national patent diploma and the general education certificate diploma to the winners of the 2023 class.
Arnaud Simion, deputy mayor, delegate for human solidarity, employment support, health and relations with the fighting world was present, dressed in his republican sash.
“This ceremony takes place in a context that I know is complex and difficult for the entire educational community, he underlined. Killing quite simply because you are a teacher and therefore holders of knowledge, reason and educational tools intended for your symbolic emancipation from this school of the Republic that we cherish so much and ultimately a teacher to help you make you women and men free to think for themselves, to make you French citizens.”
This strong solemn moment is synonymous with reunion and emotion. “It’s a pleasure to see each other again,” confide Rozenn and Katie. “This ceremony makes the diploma more official. We realize that it’s a first step.”
Véronique Roméro, the new principal of the establishment, congratulated the students, and also thanked them warmly, because, thanks to them, the college received the Girls-Boys Equality label level 2 for its commitment in this area as well as for its commitment in a sustainable development approach.
Excellence was achieved this year, with 100% success in the general series exam. With the professional series, more than 70% of students graduated.
