Our reporter Yeila Lluberes, from Univision 41, went to the station located at 53th Street and Fifth Avenue, which was closed for several hours. From there she confirmed that the victim “has had to undergo several surgeries due to her delicate condition.”
The woman was waiting for the F train when the suspect, out of nowhere, pushed her against the moving train and she fell onto the tracks. She suffered severe blows to the head that keep her fighting between life and death.
“The suspect is already known to the authorities and has a criminal record,” said Yeila Lluberes.
Sabir Jones has dark skin, short hair, and judging by the image released by the authorities, he would be wearing a red t-shirt and dark sweatshirt.
