“The Patria vaccine is going very well, we are going to have the Patria vaccine this year, all the tests have already been done, the tests have been passed, Mexico now has its vaccine, that is what I can say,” said the president.
In this sense, López Obrador recognized that the application of the vaccine is a right: “we already have a vaccine, the Patria vaccine is in process, that is also important and the vaccines will always be applied free of charge to everyone because it is a right , it is not a privilege.”

Likewise, the Mexican Head of State applied, in the morning press conference he coordinates, the Cuban vaccine Abdala, the result of Cuban immunology and science in the context of the most aggressive wave of the Sars CoV-2 disease.
When highlighting the effectiveness of the Cuban vaccine, the dignitary said that “don’t be confused, all the vaccines that are applied go through a quality test; Public health should not be used for political purposes, they are different things, it has to do with human rights, nothing about ideologies.”
Mexico expects to apply 54 million doses during the winter immunization campaign, with the aim of “reducing the risk of hospitalizations and deaths from these diseases in people who live in vulnerable conditions.”
